I had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend as I was able to celebrate and take photographs of the marriage of two of my really great friends. I worked with Lauren at Starbucks right after high school several years ago. Our quirky personalities and love for cats immediately clicked a friendship between us. We created many great, laughable memories together in our tiny little corner making coffee. Although we don’t see each other as often as we did working together, we still have that wonderful connection and can immediately pick up where we left off no matter how long it’s been since we’ve talked.
When Lauren came to me to last fall to see if I would like to photograph her and Adam’s wedding, I couldn’t say no-especially since she had been talking of having a gorgeous spring mountain wedding. My favorite setting of course is our very own Rocky Mountains.
Adam and Lauren said their vows at the beautiful Pueblo Mountain Park in Beulah, Colorado. It was a small but gorgeous ceremony and reception, and to top it off the weather was absolutely perfect. Being the small wedding it was, I had a wonderful opportunity to take some extra photos of the newlyweds both after the ceremony, and after the reception when the gorgeous golden light of the sun started shining through the trees.
I really enjoyed this wedding, and even if I was not the photographer I would not have missed it. I love you two and I wish the VERY best for you and your future together!!
