Joaquin and Joy :: Cemetery Engagement Shoot

These two have been seen before, you can see the first part of their engagement shoot and read more about these two by clicking here. I love this session because it is so unusual and so different from anything I would have ever thought up. Joy requested we do some of the engagement photos in a cemetery. I’ve never had anyone request such a location so I didn’t know what to expect. I knew how beautiful the headstones at cemeteries can be, and I knew the grounds were well kept and green, but I couldn’t have prepared for it until we started shooting. I’ll be honest I was a bit nervous for this part before we went through with it, but I am so very glad that Joy wanted to do her photos here. I wanted to be sure to do something that was tasteful and respectful for the people who are buried here. Doing this was a challenge, but I believe we achieved it and the photos came out beautifully.  I couldn’t be more pleased with these. I hope you enjoy!
