The Wedding of Will and Megan Ray at the Holy Cross Abbey in Canon City, Colorado

The Abbey is such a gorgeous historic building, with several empty rooms in the upper floors to take advantage of some wonderful golden light. I have been waiting so long for an opportunity to photograph in this beautiful building. It turned out to be exactly what I hoped for. The wedding was originally planned to take place on the grounds outside but it started to rain as guests were arriving. The ceremony was moved indoors for an equally beautiful experience.
