I’ve been anxiously editing so that I could post this blog. Tom and Brittany will be getting married this year in December. They love the snow and are hoping it will be a snowy day during the wedding. Needless to say, they requested to do their engagement session in the mountains during what we hoped would be a romantically soft snow… and wow did that wish come true! This is the type of photo shoot I think any photographer really hopes to photograph!! It was such a perfect day. This engagement session was quite the adventure and I loved every minute of it! We decided to meet at San Isabel Lake in the mountains just outside of Rye, Colorado. San Isabel had already been getting a bunch of snow, so there was already a good layer of white on the ground. The day started out sunny as we trekked through what seemed to be at least two feet of white powder. We stumbled, fell, laughed… it was a great time!
About halfway through the engagement, the clouds started rolling in. Soon after, a dreamy and soft snowfall started coming down. It was absolutely perfect! We couldn’t have asked for a better day.
Tom and Brittany, I had a BLAST with you two. Thank you so much for choosing me to be your wedding photographer. I know your wedding is several months away, but it will come fast and I am looking so forward to continuing to get to know you both and to be such a big part of your wedding day!
